When purchasing a chair for fishing it is important to find one that is both comfortable and that suits your style of fishing. You may require a very low chair for maximum stability however, these are more difficult to get out of whilst a higher chair will be easier. Arm rests can be an advantage as they provide leverage with which to push yourself out of the chair. Some chairs have independently adjustable legs so that the chair can be adjusted for a sloping bank. These generally are fitted with “mud feet” to stop the chair sinking into a soft bank. Please remember – you probably spend a longer time sitting in your chair when fishing than the one you use whilst watching television so it is sensible to buy something comfortable. Woody’s have a large range in store, so why not buy where you can try!
